Shallow Sport 24 Mod-V

The 24ft Shallow Sport Mod-V is the ideal ultra-shallow running boat for guiding Tidewater, Virginia where miles of shallow flats meet the open water of the Chesapeake and Mobjack Bay.  The Mod-V utilizes a unique hull design comprised of a tunnel hull transitioning into a sharp bow entry.  With an advertised draft of 6 inches on plane, the Shallow Sport will run in water skinnier than boats half its size while maintaining the ability to handle open water crossings that would send a typical flats skiff to the barn.  The boat has a raised console with upper standing station which allows for elevated sight fishing visibility.  You will find that the capabilities of the Shallow Sport 24 Mod-V provide anglers the best opportunity for success when saltwater fly fishing and light tackle fishing the flats of Virginia's Chesapeake Bay.

Triton 240 LTS Pro

More than 25 years ago, I ran one of the first "bay boats" on the Chesapeake.  Since that time, the bay boat design has grown in popularity and proven itself as the perfect setup for shallow water fishing in the region.  Large and stable, my 24ft Triton LTS Pro is a shallow water fishing machine that maintains the ability to handle the Chesapeake Bay chop.  From 100 gallons of livewell space to the remote control trolling motor, this boat is fully customized to provide saltwater fly fishing and light tackle anglers with a comfortable experience when targeting striped bass, redfish, and speckled trout on Virginia's Chesapeake Bay.

Boats & Equipment

A lifetime on the water has provided me the opportunity to ride on countless boats and fish a wide array of equipment.  With that knowledge in hand, I have outfitted my guide service with customized boats and equipment to meet the demands of saltwater fly fishing and light tackle fishing on the the lower Chesapeake Bay of Virginia.
